My participation was minimal but still happy to lend a hand for a good cause. Thanks for thinking of me Dave!

Confused.com - Credit Card, Energy Provider & Home Insurance
Sweet! Apparently all of the ads I worked on over the last two months were posted at the same time. Here are another three more ads for Confused.com. Again, directed by Dan & Jason over at Hornet
I realize that it may seem like I'm pimping the Confused brand really hard so I promise next post will not be Confused related or even an ad. Stay tuned.

Confused.com - Chain Reaction
Directed by Dan & Jason of Hornet fame. A lot more of my animation got into this one. I think there are only two shots I didn't have a hand in. Happy (belated) Valentine's Day!

Mega Man Banner
Team Umizoomi
As some of you know, I've been working on Team Umizoomi for a few years and now that a fair amount of episodes have aired, I wanted to put together an Umizoomi reel showing off some of my favorite personal animations. I think it was especially important to put this together because when a episode airs, in any given scene there could be as many as 4 different flash animator's files + the after effect animator's puppeting, combined. In other words, pointing out what was done only by myself, can be difficult.

British Gas - Upside Down
Yet another project I've worked on over at Hornet and directed by Guilherme Marcondes. This was created around September of last year and was my very first project over at Hornet. For some reason, I've only discovered it's existence online today so it's a been awhile since I've seen it and it feels fresh to my eyes.
There are two more British Gas ads that I actually had a hand in helping with. As soon as I find them, I'll be sure to share.

Cardinal
A friend of mine recently posted some of her snow day photos (Hi Lissette!) and she happened to catch a few Cardinals just hanging out on some branches. Needless to say, it was about as adorable as you can imagine. Those photos inspired this little piece.
I'd also like to point out that this is my very first iPad only sketch.
Griffin Stylus + ArtRage App = LOVE

Scene Test
Chobani - Snow Angel
Here's another commercial I recently worked on over at Hornet
and directed by Yves Geleyn, for Chobani Yogurt.
Two posts in a day and double the amount of last year. 2011, is already off to a great start!

Happy Belated New Year!
I promise to post more this year than I have in 2010.
Dust out some of the cow webs, get rid some of the dead links and presto! With the submission of this post, I fulfill my promise and have officially beaten my dismal post record for 2010.
Now I know this is a bit of a cheat as this video I'm posting below was completed in Nov/2010 and my Facebook friends have already seen it but for those of you who check my blog from time to time (thanks) looking for an update, forgive me, but the drawings will come soon :)
Here's some animation that I was lucky to be a part of. Created over at Hornet and directed by Dan & Jason, it's not everyday I get a chance to work not only work to music but to a classic Queen's song. As always, comments appreciated.

A plug for la Familia
Tossing up a shout out for my niece, Joanne Cruz, who I am very proud of. She's an amateur photographer based in Florida so if you're in the area and need photos, be sure to contact her.

Through Soil He Did Crawl
Couldn't sleep :( Not sure why Earthworm Jim jumped into mind except to say about a week ago I talking with some friends about his influence on me. I proudly admit I still have his action figure. Loved the video game, not so much the TV show.
I became a fan of everything Doug TenNapel (aka Creator of the Worm) and tried to develop my style, from studying his. If you get a chance, check out the game's animation and art direction, arguably the best parts of Earthworm Jim.
